Applicant must be a High School student in 11^th or 12^th grade or a college student thinking about becoming a Librarian or Media Specialist as a job career.  All applications will be considered but preference will be given to those with an interest in becoming a Librarian or Media Specialist.  The Student Internship will work thirteen hours a week for 10 weeks.  Starting May 27, 2014 through July 31, 2014.  Preferably Student will work Tuesdays and Thursdays every week from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon. The intern will have a 30 minute lunch and return to work from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The Student will be required to work one Saturday, July 26, 2014 for the summer reading party in the Shelby Park from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Stop by the Shelby Community Library for an application.   This Internship pays a stipend of $1,000 total.  Applications due by May 5, 2014.
