Shelby Community Library

This week preschool through 2nd grade students enjoyed a story hour with Sherri Nielsen. They read a book about the first dogs in space and a book about Neil Armstrong. They even watched Armstrong’s first steps on the Moon! Balloon rockets were launched, space food was tried, and light sabers were created. Everyone had a blast!

On Thursday, June 13th, Kelly Willis led the first Story Hour. Participants had the chance to create bracelets with beads that glow in the dark and beads that change color in the sunlight, complete astronaut missions after popping balloons, and play dodge the Meteorite! Fun was had by all! Join us Thursday, June 2oth for a Star Wars themed Story Hour!
