NEEDING TRUNKS FOR SHELBY’S TRUNK OR TREAT OCT. 27TH 2 PM TO 4 PM

Please join the Shelby Friends of the Library, Shelby Chamber of Commerce, Business & Area Clubs for the 5th Annual Trunk or Treat! Mark your calendar for a fun filled time at Shelby’s Trunk or Treat. We are expecting 200 children to participate. The more trunks we have, the more fun for kids! We are needing business, clubs & Friends of the Library to help us provide more trunks. The location of the Trunk or Treat is downtown Shelby on Walnut Street between Oak Street & Pine Street. Set-up time will be held from 1:15 pm to 1:45 pm. Children will Trick-or-Treat between 2 pm and 4 pm. Please contact Laura Alt at the Shelby Community Library at 402-527-5181 if you’re planning to do a trunk! A FABULOUS prize will be given to the BEST DECORATED TRUNK! Thanks for all your support.

“LIBRARIES ROCK!” SUMMER READING PARTY AT THE SHELBY PARK

SATURDAY, JULY 21, 2018

10 AM TO 11AM

Everyone will receive their prize at the “LIBRARIES ROCK!” Party. On Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10 am to 11 am at the Shelby park under the large shelter. Come dressed to get wet! We will be playing lots of water games. Prizes will be awarded to everyone entering the Summer Reading Contest.  Even children that did not enter the reading contest can come and enjoy the party with us.  All are welcome to attend.
