Assistant Librarian Needed

The Stromsburg Public Library is hiring for the Assistant Librarian position. Duties are to begin immediately.

Duties will include greeting patrons, checking in and checking out of materials using the library circulation system, looking up materials for patrons, processing new materials, working with the director and summer reading coordinator on library programming, preparing library displays, shelving materials, posting to social media and creating library flyers.

This is a part-time position (20 hours) which includes evening and Saturday hours. For a complete job description and application please stop by the library. Applications close August 22, 2022.
