We are also excited to share with you the 2018 4-H STEM Reading Connections program. This year’s theme is Libraries Rock! which ties directly to the Collaborative Summer Library Program and the Nebraska Extension STEM Issue Team.
This year four customizable lessons have been created and are stored in BOX: https://unl.box.com/s/f6vwlwj98dh4vtom9xuxx2cjceof0k54. Each 60 minute lesson targets elementary aged youth but has early childhood and middle school components. When you start planning your sessions be sure to look through all of the lessons to determine which ones best meet your audience and location needs. Maybe it will be a combination of more than one lesson. Remember that these lessons can be customized and used in multiple delivery modes: libraries, afterschool, school enrichment, camp settings, etc.
