Nebraska Extensions has created a great resource for anyone who enjoys reading to kids that ties directly to local libraries’ summer reading programs. It includes eight storybook guides featuring well known fairy tales such as Cinderella and Aladdin. All of the eight story guides include: conversation starters, and a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activities related to the book. It also shows ways you can increase learning by play and why it’s important to read aloud to young children.
