We Couldn’t Have Done it Without You!
Fairfield Public Library has been selected as one of the 140 libraries to be a recipient of the Nebraska Library Commission’s Broadband Technology Grant funded by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act. In addition to the $2,416,403 awarded to the Nebraska Library Commission from the US Department of Commerce, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will provide $1,251,786 in matching funds, bringing the total project budget to $3,668,189 for the next 3 years.
Fairfield Public Library will be receiving the following items: desktop & laptop computers, a printer (possibly color), a scanner, a computer projector, a WiFi router, a network switch, an ADA compliant workstation and computer with assistive technology, computer chairs, anti-virus software, Windows 7, and Microsoft Office software.
