Summer Reading Program activities will be held this year, but rather than being held for in-person attendance, will be posted online so that all attendees will be on line. Coordinating offline activities will be included in weekly take home packets. Take home packets will be available for pick up at any time during the week. Packets will not be available on Monday, June 1 as previously published.
Programs for preschoolers through fourth graders will begin on June 8th. Patrons can register for the summer program via the Reader Zone app that will be available at that time.
For those children of elementary school age, Mondays at 2:00 pm will be when virtual programs including STEAM, crafts and other projects will be highlighted. There will be a special presentation of Page to Stage’s “School House Rock” on June 29th for all ages of children.
The Jingles and Rhymes story programs will be posted online each Tuesday at 10:30 am; Alphabet Soup story programs will be posted Wednesdays at 10:30 am; and the Lego Club Challenges will be posted on Thursdays at 10:30 am. Participation for the Lego Club Challenges can be shown by emailing a photo of the build to the library at childrens@holdregelibrary.org.
