There are still some activities going on this week at your library:
Christmas Stocking project: Patrons are invited to take part in our annual project by stopping at the front desk and inquiring about our Christmas Stockings. Patrons may choose a donation amount that they would like to give to the library to acquire new materials for the library. You may write your name on the paper stocking or remain anonymous. Give your monetary donation to the library staff member at the desk. Your stocking will be hung up in our special display. Thank you for your kind donations to this project.
Friends of the Library Christmas Gift Bags for preschoolers through fourth graders: Our Friends of the Library have organized Christmas Snowman bags with a special gift inside: a book to read with friends and family. Ask about the gift bags at the library front desk or the desk in the Children’s room. Thank you Friends of the Library. We love our books!
Friends of the Library Virtual Book Auction: If you won the bid for a sack of books on the Friends of the Library Virtual Book Auction lately and haven’t picked up your bag yet it is waiting at the library. Ask the library staff at the front desk for more information.
The library is open regular hours (10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.) through Wednesday, December 30. The library will be closed December 31 and January 1 but will reopen on Saturday, January 2 (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
