The Holdrege Area Public Library is pleased to announce that magazines and cake pans are now allowed to be checked out, and newspapers can be used within the library. In addition, there are no time limits for visiting the library as there had been, and computer use has been expanded back to a 90 minute limit.
We still ask that all visitors wear masks and adhere to social distancing practices, for the safety of all patrons and staff.
In addition, we are allowing the use of the new makerspace equipment; button presses (1 inch and 2.25 inches), laminator, and comb binder. All the consumable supplies, such as pieces for the buttons or laminating pouches, are available for purchase at close-to-cost prices – we have only rounded up to the nearest nickel so that we don’t have to deal with pennies. Please inquire at the Circulation Desk in order to use any of the makerspace equipment.
