Hooper Public Library will be closed Tuesday May 10th for the Primary Election. Our location serves as a polling place so no library services will be offered. Be sure to get out and VOTE!

This week I had the pleasure of giving tours to Color Me Happy Preschool classes on Wed. & Fri. Her son, Kevin Boatright recently contacted Cherie Anderson at HPL about possibly donating to the library and asked what funds might be used for. On Sat. Feb. 13th a Valentine Party was held at HPL. The children learned how they can borrow books on a computer, tablet or on a device such as a Kindle using Nebraska Overdrive. We read the book “Love Ruby Valentine” on the computer and compared it to the actual book as we read along. Read More
