The Library welcomes families and children of all ages. However, the parent and/or guardian is responsible for his/her children at all times. Staff do not provide short or long term child care and can not be responsible for unattended children.
Children age eight (8) years of age and older may use the library on their own. However, parents or guardians are still responsible for the actions and the well-being of their children.
See a librarian for the complete Patron Behavior/Unattended Children policy.
Reading to your child is one of the most powerful ways to boost his or her brain power! Our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program is a fun, exciting, and FREE way to start your child on the path to success. Come to the library TODAY to sign up and get started.
