Become a Friend of the Library

Friends of the Library are individuals who care about the role libraries play in our community. Through volunteering, donations, and advocacy, they help support and enhance the programs, collections, and services that make the library a place for learning, creativity, and connection.

From helping with book sales to supporting special programs and new materials, our Friends can make a real difference in what the library can offer. With their support, the library can do even more for the people of South Sioux City.

Library Friends who donate 75 hours worth of time to the library in a calendar year can get a library card for free! Library Friends will also be invited to our Volunteer Celebration and Orientation Night in August!
