Patrick McManus’ Book, “Rubber Legs And White Tail-Hairs” Selected For December

For the month of December, Spalding Public Library Book Club members have chosen the book “Rubber Legs And White Tail-Hairs” written by Patrick F. McManus. The author, Patrick F. McManus, is a renowned outdoor writer, humorist, and longtime columnist for “Outdoor Life” and “Field & Stream” magazines. His most recent books are the Sheriff Bo Tully mysteries “Avalanche and The Blight Way”. He is the author of many other books, including such runaway New York Times bestsellers as “The Grasshopper Trap”, “The Night the Bear Ate Goombaw”, and “Real Ponies Don’t Go Oink!” The author lives in Spokane, WA.   In “Rubber Legs And White Tail-Hairs” Patrick’s humor is directed at fishermen, hunters, campers, gun-swappers, little boys and willful weather.
