The Library is now open for business services. We ask that only one family member visit the library. A thirty (30) minute time limit is allowed for making copies, printing, sending a fax, and computer use. Curbside pick up service is still available. Thank you for abiding by our guidelines.
A date to begin offering curbside pick up for library materials is in the works. We are working out all the details and hope to provide more definite information soon. Stay tuned!
Sign up for a temporary Library Card while we are closed from the comfort of your home. A library account allows you to use the free Ebook and downloadable audiobook service. This service is available as an App on your smart device or use online on a computer. We recommend downloading the the Libby app for an easier experience. The Overdrive app is also available to download. To sign up for a temporary account, click on “account log in”. Next click on “log in to your account” located in the upper right hand side to find the information to apply for an account. We will access your information to set up the account and you will be issued a temporary library card.
The Library will remained closed until April 30th. All materials checked out at this time will not be due back until May 1st. Our book drop remains open if you choose to return library materials. We are not accepting any Interlibrary loan request or reserving any materials at this time. The City of Springfield made the hard decision to close both the Library and the library meeting room for the foreseeable future. All due dates have been extended through April 1st. We will reevaluate the situation at that time. No fines will be incurred during this time for any library materials.
