4-H STEM Reading Connections with Jackie Steffen
During this session, you will learn about the summer resources developed by Nebraska Extension that tie into this year’s summer reading theme “Imagine Your Story.” This hands-on workshop will allow you to interact with “myth” themed lessons and resources and also give you a sneak peek of how this program has expanded to involve childcare providers, parents, and 4-H clubs.
Afterschool Teen STEM with Julie Boyle
This session will use the Think, Make, Create Lab to learn the importance of STEM, family engagement, and active learning. This hands-on lesson on active learning and its importance for teens will be a fun resource for libraries this summer.
