The Ainsworth Public Library will celebrate National Library Week from April 10th to April 15t with a number of special activities. A Story Time will be held on Monday, April 10th, from 4- 5- p.m. for anyone that would like to attend. We will hold a Book Mark Coloring Day on Tuesday, April 11th. Relax by coloring a book mark anytime from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Return any over-due item on Thursday, April 13th, and pay no fine. A Lego Time will be held on Friday, April 14th from 2-3 p.m. This is open to all ages.
The library will be holding a “Guess How Many?” Contest. Since Nebraska is celebrating its 150th birthday this year, we decided it would be fun for patrons to submit their guess on how many books the library has in its collection dealing with the state of Nebraska. Readers may submit their guess all week long. The person with the closest guess will win a special prize.
