Week of the Young Child

During the Week of the Young Child and National Library Week, the 12 Pre-K/ Prep boys played and ate their picnic at the park, then came in to enjoy a story “Don’t Touch That Flower” read by Mrs. Radil. Mrs. Radil is a library board member.

Donations Request

Each year, Hoesch Memorial Public Library hosts a six-week summer reading program to encourage early literacy and foster a love of reading for all ages. This year’s theme is “Adventures at Your Library.” We are planning exciting programming and prizes based on this
theme, including adventures in the woods, traveling, problem-solving, adventures in the kitchen, and things that glow in the dark.

As we have a budget, we would like to put out a call for prize donations related to the adventure theme. We are looking for new items such as camping and fishing gear, cooking or baking utensils, glow-in-the-dark items, puzzles, and games. We will have separate prize baskets for each age group, from babies to adults.

If you wish to donate, please contact Keri Anderson at the library.
