Butler Memorial Library has been serving the Cambridge area for over 50 years. With its wide variety of offerings and services, the library provides the area with opportunities to enhance lifelong learning. The library’s collection includes fiction, nonfiction books, large print books, audiobooks, cake pans, and a variety of magazines and newspapers.

The library is overseen by a Library Board & Library Foundation Board. The boards are made up of the same five people, however their agendas are different. The library board manages the general operations of the library. The Library Foundation Board manages:
• Purchasing Books, DVDs and magazines
• Bake Sale—raising money for something new:
2017 – Little Free Library
2018 – Edgerton Explorit Planetarium Event
2019 – New Junior Nonfiction book with QR code (Presidents) & Summer Reading Program activities(adjusted due to Covid)
2020 – matching funds for Children’s room updates
• Future large projects
