The Ceresco Community Library is slowly adding new programs and opportunities for youth to stay involved at their local library! We have a YA section at the front of the library and beanbags that can be pulled out to lounge on. If there is anything you’d like your library to add, don’t hesitate to let us know, we always look forward to your suggestions.
The Teen Advisory Board, TAB for short, aims to provide teens in the Ceresco community an opportunity to take a part in creating more opportunities at the library for their peer group. TAB meets once a month to discuss future goals, fundraising ideas, teen programming, and improving the YA collection at the library. Anyone interested in joining TAB can pick up a paper application at the library.
While we currently are not running a teen book club, we are more than happy to host one! If you or a teen you know, is interested in starting a monthly teen book club let us know. You can stop in to chat with us, shoot an email, or message us on our socials and we’ll spread the word.
We recommend having at least two members who can commit to meeting once a month at the library.
The Ceresco Community Library happily will accept any teens who are interested in volunteering. Whether it be for a school requirement, fun, or any other reason, we can always use volunteers to help us get things moving! Volunteers will be especially needed during the summer.
Teens interested in volunteering can fill out an application online and we will reach out within a week.
