Children Services

The Ceresco Community Library strives to be a place for families to spend quality time with one another. We offer a variety of books, DVDs, puzzles, and programs for you and your family to enjoy!

Our Programs:
Story Time: Join us for stories, crafts, snacks, and open playtime Thursday mornings around 10:15 am!

Story time runs yearly September – April, every Thursday.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten: This is a free program designed to be a hands off, go at your own pace program. The goal is to encourage you and your child to read 1000 books before they get into Kindergarten. Yes, rereading the same back 157 times counts as 157 different books towards that goal. In fact, any book read to your child by you, a sibling, a librarian *wink wink nudge nudge* all count too!

The library is here to support your child through the beginnings of their love for reading, we have trackers and prizes for each milestone they reach. Bring your child between the ages of 0-5 to sign them up & take home a brand new book to keep!

Check our Resources tab for more 1000 Books Before Kindergarten book lists, activities, & information.
