Library Services
To use the Ceresco Library and its services, we ask that each patron signs up for a library card. To receive a library card, each person must supply a photo ID and proof of address. Library cards are free to all who live within the city limits of Ceresco or who have a rural Ceresco address. Registered patrons from any other Saunders County Library are also able to use our services with no charge.
Those living outside of Ceresco may pay a $20 yearly membership if interested in becoming a patron of the Ceresco Library.
Fines & Fees:
The Ceresco Library is a fine free library meaning no overdue fines accrue. If items are returned in poor condition or significantly damaged, patrons will be charged the unit price plus a $1.00 handling fee.
Printing and Faxing services are also available.
B&W copies: 10
Color: 25
Fax: $1
Check-out Periods:
All items in the library are circulated for a three-week period and will renew automatically one additional time as long as an item has no holds.
E-Books and Audio Books:
Each patron with a Ceresco library card has access to a selection of E-Books and Audio Books available on the Libby by Overdrive app. To sign in to Libby you will need the last 5 digits of your Library Card Number. Stop in, shoot us an email, or call if you need any help!
- Download the Libby app or go to libbyapp.com
- When prompted to “search for your Library” enter 68017 and select Ceresco Community Library.
- Enter the last 5 digits of your library card #.
Computers: Patrons have access to two desktop computers for 30 minutes at a time (or longer if no one else is using them).
