Library Update
Current Library hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Masks are required.
Curbside pick-up is available by calling 402-367-3100 or emailing Hruskalibrary@gmail.com.
Check in at the front desk. We can only allow 10 people in the building at a time, so we will check you in and out.
Social distancing is required.
Patrons are encouraged to limit their stay to 20 minutes so others may use the facility.
Areas are designated for checking out materials, and patrons will scan and handle their own items.
Four patron computers will be available for 50 minute sessions each. These computers are for patrons 18 years of age and older. Plastic gloves are available for use. Hand washing or hand sanitizing is required, if not using gloves.
Children not yet in middle school should be accompanied by a parent or other adult guardian.
The Library is open!
We have officially opened Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm, as with everything these days, we have to open in a special way. We are working hard to make sure both staff and patrons are safe, and apologize in advance for any inconvenience the new restrictions may cause.
We will be open 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Thursday. No Saturday hours will be available until July.
BYOM. Bring Your Own Mask. Mask use is highly recommended.

The children’s library is undergoing some exciting renovations, and will be closed until completed. Call ahead, and we will gather the books you want and have them ready to go. Email Lucy at youth.hruska.library@gmail.com with book requests or questions about the virtual Summer Reading program.
No public restrooms will be available.
Returned materials will be checked in after being in quarantine for a week. Please return materials to the outdoor book drop even if entering the building.
We will continue to fill and bag book orders for east door pickup. Email Hruskalibrary@gmail.com or call 402-367-3100 to place your order. Our card catalog is available at davidcitylibrary.org.
The cart of free books will be available by the east door once again. These books are donated or discarded items, and are yours to keep! We do not want them back.
OverDrive and NebraskAccess are always available. as is public WIFI.

To access e-books and audiobooks you will need a valid library card. Use your full library card number and the pin: Langdon to access OverDrive materials.
The OverDrive app is available for download in your devices play/app store or can be used directly through a web browser.
Library Update
Dear Library Friends:
Given the recent news related to the coronavirus and the request for social distancing, library activities will not be held until further notice. Please call the library with questions at 402-367-3100. This includes children’s programs, toddler and pre-school story times, crafternoon, LEGO club, and adult programs including the Quilt Show on March 18th and the Quilts of Valor program on Monday, March 23rd. WIC on the 25th of March will also be canceled. Regular library services are still available.
