Sometimes you just can’t make it to the library for a program, and that’s okay! We have a selection of free printables packed full of worksheets, craft ideas, or fun games. These are intended for our younger patrons, but anyone can print from home!

JRML is hosting a Birthday party for Smokey the Bear and YOU are invited! the party includes cake, drinks and smokey the bear swag. And the best part is this party is all FREE, and you don’t need to bring a present!

John Rogers Memorial Library (JRML) will be hosting a Golden Sower book club for youth ages 8-12. JRML will provide access to all books selected for each participant. Before the meeting, each participant should have already read the book pick and be ready to discuss! The club will meet the Second Thursday of every month to discuss the Golden Sower Book nominee title chosen, eat pizza, Choose a new Golden Sower Nominee Title to read, and listen to a Golden Sower Picture Book nominee.

Pre- Registration is appreciated to get a count for the pizza but not necessary to join!

JRML will be hosting after school programming each Thursday, starting on August 22. There will be a set schedule for each week, but this is subject to change. The schedule is as follows: First Thursday – Kids in the Kitchen Second Thursday – Golden Sower Book Club Third Thursday – Lego Club Fourth Thursday – Board game Day Fifth Thursday (if applicable) – Choose Your Own Adventure Book club
