Attention Teens: Tuesday October 16th from 4-6pm will be our next Anime Club meeting!

The countdown to Halloween has begun and the Franklin Public Library has a lot of books and movies for your entertainment! Come and check out our variety of scary movies, fun children’s books, and horror books. We also have some amazing decorations and displays set up!

Teen Anime Club will be on October 2nd from 4-6pm! Come in, hang out, and watch some anime with us!

Teens & Tweens (ages 10-18)

In honor of the 20th anniversary of our beloved wizard’s entrance into our lives, you’re invited to a Night at Hogwarts! Come to the library October 25th from 6:30-8:00pm and experience life through Harry’s eyes. We will have fun games & activities. Refreshments will be served. Costumes are encouraged!! Each student will get their own wand from Ollivander’s wand shop.

Preregistration is required! Only 20 students will be admitted for this year’s class.

This week is Banned Book Week!! Come and celebrate your freedom to read. We will be giving away 2 banned books at the end of this week, so make sure to stop in and register today through Thursday!

Our second Teen Anime Club meeting will be on September 18th from 4-6 pm. Come and check out the new anime series that we will be watching! The library has also started adding graphic novels to our collection, so come in and check them out.

The Library will host another teen game night on September 13th from 6-8pm. Teens & Tweens, come to the library and have a fun night of gaming! The library will provide several new board games, a Nintendo Wii, and food!
