Geode Fun!
We learned about geodes at the library this week. We learned how a geode is formed, its unique composition, where they are found and much more. Each child got to take home a geode that was broken open.

There were 210 attendees at the Summer Library Program Kick-Off. The picture shows one of ten candy stations at the program. The Friends of the Library served pizza and chips.

10 Year Anniversary of Library Expansion
It doesn’t seem possible but May 11, 2024 is the 10th anniversary since the library’s expansion project was completed. It all began with a library needs survey in March 2006. Many fund raising events were held with a total of 1,350 volunteers giving 3,282 hours of time toward the expansion …
