Weโre excited to be part of this yearโs STEM Festโa celebration of innovation, creativity, and leadership in science, technology, engineering, and math! This year is especially meaningful as we recognize the National Science Foundationโs 75th Anniversary. Our local STEM Fest will be an off-site program held at the Central Community College โ Holdrege Campus, and weโre so thankful to them for partnering with us and providing space for this special event.
Teens 5th-12th grade are invited to join us from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (please note the program will begin promptly at 5:00 PM) for a live Zoom session with Elizabeth Contreras, a Senior Lab Scientist on the Drilling Technology Team at the Aramco Research Center in Houston. Elizabeth will be sharing her experiences and insights into the world of energy research and careers in STEM.
Thanks to STEM Next and the National Science Foundation, weโll also have hands-on activity kits available to go along with the program, and food will be provided for all attendees.

This is an off-site program. All participants must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver. Waivers must be turned in to the library no later than May 1st in order to attend. If registering online, Sierra will email you a waiver to fill out. If registering in person, you can get a waiver from the front desk.
