Summer Reading Program 2022: Read Beyond the Beaten Path

This year’s Summer Reading Program theme is Read Beyond the Beaten Path. Registration begins May 23 and reading times may be counted through July 16 to earn prizes! You can register anytime during the program. This year, we will use ReaderZone for the reading logs – our library’s code is 9c7d6. This year, kids age 6 and older have a goal of 14 total hours of reading, with a prize for every 2 hours. Kids age 5 and under have a goal of 3 1/2 total hours of reading, with a prize for every 30 minutes.

We will also have activities at the library for kids of all ages!

Friday, June 3 / Saturday, June 4

Friday, June 10 / Saturday, June 11

Friday, June 17 / Saturday, June 18

Friday, June 24 / Saturday, June 25

Program Times:

Fridays at 10:30 am for kids 8 and under

Fridays at 1:30 pm for kids 9 and older

Saturdays at 10:30 am for kids preschool and younger

The Bookmark Design Contest is back this year! This is open to all ages. Pick up your form at the library and return by June 10. We will pick a winner from each age category (newborn through adult) to print for library visitors.

This year, we will also host a Tiny Art Show. Beginning May 23, stop by the library to pick up your tiny canvas. Return it to the library by June 22 so we can display it for Old Settler’s! This is also open to artists of all ages.
