Story time is at 10:00 on Fridays near the windows in the children’s area. This Story Time is designed for children 3-6 but is open to all ages. Participants will read a story, sing songs, and do an activity.
Have you heard about 1000 Books Before Kindergarten? It’s a program for children from birth until they go to kindergarten.
Read books with your little one and keep track of them. You can read the same book over and over or read 1000 different books. The goal is to encourage reading with little ones and spending time with them.
Use Beanstack to track your reading or pick up a paper log at the Youth Services desk.
Stop at the youth services desk to earn prizes when you hit milestones. We can check your beanstack logs but you’ll need to bring your paper log in to the desk.
email: dhabinck@southsiouxcity.org if you have more questions.
