The Library has a New Name

We are no longer known as the Lincoln Township Library. We have a new name and it is the Lied Lincoln Township Library.   Our Library Board and our Library Foundation Board have been working and fundraising for many years to build a new library.  Due to a $250,000.00 grant from the Lied Trust Foundation, we are now in the first steps of building our new library.  One of the stipulations of the grant is that we use Lied in the name of the library and we are now proudly known as the Lied Lincoln Township Library.

The grant is given in memorial of Ernst Lied and his parents Frank and Ida Lied to be forever named, known and referred to as the Lied Lincoln Township Library in the memory of  Ernst F. Lied and his parents, Ernst M. and Ida K. Lied.

The present library will be converted into a much needed meeting room for the community of  Wausa and we are so excited to soon be starting on a new library building.
