Unfortunately, it is with a heavy heart that I must leave my position as the Director of the Western Library System. This past year has provided me with many wonderful experiences working with the talented librarians and directors from all around the 21 western Nebraska counties. I am very appreciative for all of the guidance and support from the knowledgeable librarians and directors in this area, along with each of the Regional Library Directors, and the Nebraska Library Commission and staff. Many great memories of my time here will remain with me, and please know that I have truly experienced the “Nebraska Nice” from everyone.
Thank you all for this wonderful opportunity. I look forward to visiting the many libraries within the western Nebraska area, along with the Nebraska Library Commission, on my trips back to this region in the future. May all of your libraries “rock” this summer! – Jan J. Jolliffe –
