As part of what we have nicknamed our “tiny buy mighty” group of one sweet young lady, the library visited the local floral shop as part of our summer reading program. While this “group” might be small, we have seen amazing things happening and have so enjoyed our time together. Last week, we traveled down the street to visit with Nikki Rask, the owner of Local Roots Floral & Gifts. Nikki led some hands-on flower arranging for us, and the bonus was that the floral arrangement went home with our group member! She was thrilled and promised to change the water and keep her siblings away from her pretty flowers.
