Librarian’s Report
No one showed up for the January K-3 Story hour. Weather was awful. No one showed up for the February Story Hour either. Weather was beautiful. I had 4 children for the March story hour.
I attended the Summer Reading Workshop in Lexington on January 23. We received 3 free books, lots of craft ideas, and our name is in a drawing for a free Magician program. We also can do a Humanities program and the Library Commission will pay for it.
Book Club met with 5 members present in January. February had 6 members attend. Six members were present for the March meeting.
Roof leaked after March 25 storm. Weathercraft Roofing was notified.
I had a high school student come in and ask about volunteer hours
Shelby from the City came in and said she would try to transplant some plants from the Community Center into our front flower beds. This has been done.
Kathy Burr has contacted me about co-oping on the summer reading program.
