Be sure to visit the annual Cookie Walk this holiday season. Fill a bag or two with your favorite Christmas cookies for a free will donation benefiting the Library.

The date for the Humanities Nebraska program featuring author Joe Starita has been rescheduled due to unanticipated events. Starita has written multiple works including “Warrior of the People” and “I Am a Man” which are available at the Library to check out.

We hope you are practicing your pie baking skills. Bring your pie entries on September 22 before 6:30pm. Even if you’re not entering the contest, we need pie tasters to vote for all the award winning pies.

Mark your calendars for a fall garden talk with Springfield Master Gardeners, Amy and Bob Green. Bring your questions about gardening in the fall.

Everyone’s invited for the end of the Summer Reading Program party with ice cream sundaes and a fabulous Omaha Street Percussion performance. With the hot temperatures, we are moving indoors to the Community Building. Can’t wait to see you there!
