NLA/NSLA Pre-conference Program with Kat Kan

The Nebraska Regional Library Systems are hosting a preconference program on Wednesday, October 14, from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. featuring Katherine “Kat” Kan. She will talk about the many genres, diversity in comics, resources for building and augmenting collections, programming, and classroom use. Whether you work in a public or school library, you can find help, ideas, and inspiration for using graphic novels with your teens.
A recent issue of the online newsletter, Brodart Connect, published a short article by Kat titled, “Graphic Novels in Libraries: We’ve come a long way baby!” To see that article, click here.
