Adventure Begins at Your Library – and oh boy, are we pumped! From thrilling storytimes that’ll have the kiddos giggling with joy to creative competition for tweens, teens, (and even adults), KML has summer fun for everyone!

Come join your friends as we adventure into the world around us. We will connect Story Time and STEM with the Imagination Guides from Nebraska 4H Extension.

Come join us to learn about different holidays around the world. We will celebrate the holidays with some fun crafts.

Come on an adventure through different habitats around the world. Learn a little about space, the ocean, desert, rainforest, and the Artic. Listen to some fun stories and create a craft inspired by each of these habitats.

Join us as we learn about the different reptiles of Nebraska. We will meet some new reptiles and learn some more cool facts about the reptiles we have already met.

Puzzle Competition

Grab a few friends and register for our teen puzzle competition. Your team of 5 people will have 2 hours to put together a 300 piece puzzle. The team who completes their puzzle first wins. Please register your team on KML website, beginning May 14th.

Can you unlock the secrets of the library? Bring a few friends (4 or 5) to see if you are able to solve all the puzzles and unlock the treasures that await you at KML.

Welcome to our first ever Cupcake Wars! Do you have what it takes to impress our judges with your design skills and creativity in the world of frosting and sugar? Your team of 5 will be given a theme and a table of goodies to create the best set of cupcakes depicting your selected theme.
