Where has the year gone?

Written By: Donna Christiansen - Dec• 13•11

Wow, how has time flown by so quickly it is December already and a couple of weeks until Christmas.

Well we have some new books that have come in for you all to check out: Barefoot by Elin Hilderbrand, Red Mist by Patricia Cornwell, Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks, Lethal by Sandra Brown, Hotel Vendome by Danielle Steel, Flash and Bones by Kathy Reichs, Zero Day by David Baldacci, Son of Stone by Stuart Woods, Kill Alex Cross by James Patterson, V is for Vengeance by Sue Grafton, Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich, Shockwave by John Sandford, Soft Target by Stephen Hunter and many more too numerous to mention. We also have some new books on CD and some new young adult books such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever by Jeff Kinney and children’s books such as Dog Breath and My Bear Griz, so come check them out.

We will also be holding more gaming day/night and movie day/night activities at the Library so if you would be interested in attending a gaming day or movie night please let us know so we can get them arranged.

One last item is a question for you all: How would you feel about a computer class 1 Saturday a month or two (or a different day/night) on a specific computer program such as Word or Excel or any other certain computer topics like introduction to e-mail, internet, etc. We are thinking about 1 hour presentation with 1 hour Q&A. Let us know if this is something that you would attend and what classes you would like to see taught. Your feedback will help guide the direction these classes can take.

So you can stop by the library and our hours are: Monday, Thursday and Friday: 1:00 to 5:00 PM; Tuesday and Wednesday from Noon to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM or you can give us a call at 402-582-4507 or drop us an e-mail at plibrary@plvwtelco.net.

Well that is all for now, so we hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
