We have partnered with York Public Schools to create a fun program where starting Monday, for every new like Kilgore Memorial Library gets on Facebook, the public library will donate one dollar to YPS for their libraries. We need a way to get more attendance at our programs. We use every media source available in York. Now we are working to grow our followers on Facebook with this fun project.
We use the library’s Facebook page to promote events and programs offered at the library. We create events, we ask questions, we have fun, we communicate directly with patrons thorough Messenger and we share history of our region through photos we find. This fall we are using Facebook Live to record our weekly Story Time with Mr. and Mrs. B on Thursday morning at 10:30.
