Due to changes in our system, and the checks that are set-up in the OverDrive system, Stromsburg Public Library patrons are now required to use their complete 14-digit bar code number that is on their library card at sign-in. If your card does not have a 14-digit number, please call us and we will help you with that.

The good news is you don’t have to memorize a 14-digit number, once you sign in using the number, make sure to check the box that says, “Remember me on this device”. Unfortunately, you will have to do this on each device you use OverDrive on.

Also, at this time you may not have access to all of your lists and holds. The computer department at the Nebraska Library Commission and at OverDrive are working on meshing the accounts as they match log-in numbers. We request your patience as we go through this transition.

We had our first successful day of summer reading! If you missed it, don’t worry, there are still four more weeks!

Those entering Kindergarten through 2nd grade in the fall meet at 9 am and those going into 3rd – 5th grade meet at 10:30 am. 

On July 29 everyone will meet together at 10 am for prizes and special appearances by some local heroes!
