Change of Hours
Can’t get out on these cold days – give us a call and we would be happy to bring the books to you. Another option to avoid getting out in the cold is to use Overdrive. OverDrive Digital Library Reserve is a web-based digital media platform that enables library patrons to download popular digital audiobooks and eBooks from a customized library website. eBooks and audiobooks can be checked out and downloaded to all major computers, tablets, and smartphones, and are automatically returned to the collection when the checkout time expires. Upcoming events at the library include Book Club on January 25, 2017 and the Library Board on January 31, 2017. Events planned for February include storytime, lego league, and Blind date with a book. More information on these events will be available later this month. We would also like to remind everyone that our Friday hours have changed. We will now be open from 9 to 1:00 every Friday.

January Book Club
The January book is in for this month. The book is Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons by Lorna Landvik. Stop by and pick up a copy. We have five copies of the book. We also have a large print copy. Book Club will be January 25, 2017.
NEW HOURS FOR THE LIBRARY ON FRIDAYS
The Elgin Public Library is changing their Friday hours. Our new hours will be 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. It will start this Friday, January 6, 2017.
