BEWARE! Are you superstitious? The Elgin Public Library will be having a Friday the 13th Movie Night for grades 4th through 6th. Come if you dare!
Movie NIght at the library will take place on Friday, April 13 from 8 to 10 pm. Anyone in grades 4 to 6 are invited to attend. We will be playing games, having snacks and watching the movie ParaNorman.
Lego League was held on March 19. The children finished their towns/cities from last month. Below you will find the children pictured with their towns as well as what they named them. You never know – we might have several future city planners on our hands.

Elgin Public Library will be closed today, March 6. It is a good day to curl up with a good book and read.
On March 2, Elgin Public Library celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Ten children listened to Dr. Seuss books, made masks, played games and ate lots and lots of green eggs and ham. Fun was had by all and in the words of Dr. Seuss:
“If you never did you should. These things are fun and fun is good.”
