Trick or Treat at the library! We will be giving away children’s books at the Clatonia Community Center on Monday, Oct. 30th from 6:00 – 7:30 and Tuesday, Oct. 31st at the Dvoracek Memorial Library from 4:00 – 6:00. Come pick out a good BooooooK.

In the last few weeks a group of people have gathered on Wednesdays to learn the fundamentals of playing American Mahjong. The game of Mahjong originated in China and has been played in the US since the 1920s. It has grown in popularity and there are even Mahjong leagues.

The game is played with tiles that have different pictures on them that belong to different groups, loosely like a deck of cards and the game is somewhat like Rummy.
