All Policies are public record….Everyone is welcome to look at them.  They are kept at the Yutan Public Library.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

.Please be advised CHILDREN UNDER EIGHT (8) YEARS OF AGE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY, AND REMAIN IN SIGHT OF, AN ADULT PARENT, GUARDIAN OR DESIGNATED BABYSITTER OF AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE.  This policy was updated in April 2017.
• Leaving an individual (of any age) who is unable or unwilling to care for themselves, and/or cannot tell staff their full name, address and phone number.

If a patron (under the age of 16) is being disruptive and interring with the use of the library by others or is deemed by the library staff to be at risk of being harmed or causing harm, an effort will be made to contact the responsible parent/guardian via text, telephone and/or email. If the parent/guardian does not come to the library to pick up the said patron within 30 minutes of staff’s request to do so, the Sherriff’s Office will be called to take the patron until the parent or guardian can be reached.

• No Eating and/or drinking in the library (library events/programs are excluded).  Drinks with a secure lid are acceptable in the tiled area).

Shoes must be worn in the library at all times.

Patrons will be limited to one half hour per computer session when another patron is waiting and to 2 hours of use per day.

Patron’s need a valid Saunders County library card to use the computers and iPads.  Use by individuals without a valid library card is at the discretion of library staff.
Patrons need to be in good standing with their library. Those who have overdue or lost materials or unpaid fines are not in good standing and do not have computer privileges until the obligations are met.

There is a donation requested for printing from public computers patron record (suggested donation $.10/page)
