We had a great time reading Franklin’s Thanksgiving by Paulette Bourgeois and Brenda Clark. Ava, Danielle, Nora, and Chelsea all made “Thankful Trees”, writing on “leaves” the things they were most thankful for. They, like we all, have so much to be thankful for. The next time you are feeling angry or hurt or just upset about ‘bad’ things in your life, please remember – there is someone in the world right now that has no shelter, no food, no water, no warmth, no love. Believe it or not, someone will ALWAYS be worse off than you. Don’t dwell on the negative; be thankful for all we have, and WHO we have in our lives! Happy Thanksgiving dear readers – I am thankful for YOU.
