Greetings and happy April everyone! I hope you all had a great Easter and enjoyed the fine weather that came with it. I can’t believe it is April already! Spring is coming (today’s weather to the contrary), the flowers are blooming (a picture of my first crocus!), and we have some up and coming things here at the library you’ll enjoy! To celebrate National Library Week ( 12 – 18 April) we’re having a PARTY here! If you haven’t been to our little library in a while, stop by on 15 April during our normal opening hours for a little snack, say hi to everyone, and check out our new acquisitions. We have some of the latest movies and of course always new books every month…see if your favorite author is among them; and as always, I take requests! ALSO we are drawing the prize for the ‘Blind Date With a Book’ contest we ran in February and March; come out to see who won the prize! Again, if you entered you need not be present to win, but we’d sure love to see you here! Marlene Snell will draw the name about 8 p.m. Don’t forget our story time is on 21 April at 4:45, and our book club is on 27 April at 7 p.m. Check our calendar page for the latest. Stay warm today and I hope to see you here soon at your Snyder Library!
