New Library Director
Welcome Lauran Ostberg as our new library director! Lauran lives in Stromsburg and has family from the area. She is very involved in the Yorkshire Playhouse. We are excited for her to bring new ideas to the library.
Library Survey
The Stromsburg Public Library is seeking input from all members within our service area for what you envision for the completion of the library basement. Currently, the basement is approximately 2,900 SF of unfinished and unused space and has limitless possibilities. The project would be completed with donations, grants, and fundraising to complete the space for public use. Survey will close September 23, 2022.

Librarian Assistant Needed
Assistant Librarian Needed
The Stromsburg Public Library is hiring for the Assistant Librarian position. Duties are to begin immediately.
Duties will include greeting patrons, checking in and checking out of materials using the library circulation system, looking up materials for patrons, processing new materials, working with the director and summer reading coordinator on library programming, preparing library displays, shelving materials, posting to social media and creating library flyers.
This is a part-time position (20 hours) which includes evening and Saturday hours. For a complete job description and application please stop by the library. Applications close August 22, 2022. Create a craft for Swedish festival
Come make a craft to help Miss Sherri with decorating our downtown for Swedish Festival this year. Your gnome crafts will be displayed along with the Larssons Dala Butik coloring contest entries in store windows downtown!
This will be our Early Out activity for April 10 at 1:30 pm. See you there!
