Current Schedule

Kids – recurring
Toddler Time—every Tuesday, 2 p.m.:  For children not quite ready for a full storytime, but wanting to play and interact with other kids.
Preschool Storytime—every Wednesday, 2 p.m.:  A 30-minute program designed to help Preschoolers develop literacy and social skills.
DUPLO Club—every Thursday, 2 p.m.:  Babies through preschoolers are invited to come in to play with our DUPLO Legos.
Lego Club—every Friday, 2:30 p.m. (all ages):  A time to create and share. Some weeks are free-builds while others focus on a theme or concept.
Chapter Chat—every Thursday, 4 p.m. (grades 4-7):  Book club for middle schoolers. Book reading and discussion, a craft or game, and a snack. Books provided.
Kids’ Time—second Mondays, 4 p.m. (grades K-4):  An  hour of stories, activities, crafts, games, and snacks focused on a seasonal theme.
Gamers’ Hangout—first Tuesdays, 3:45 p.m. (1st grade and up): A video game discussion group where we pick two games every month to play. Registration required.
Minecraft Club—Every Tuesday except first, 3:45 p.m. (1st grade and up):  Work individually or in groups. Registration required.

Pre-Teens & Teens – recurring
Pre-Teen Night—Friday, Feb. 1 and Saturday, April 6,  6-9 p.m. (grades 4-6):  After-hours time for pre-teens. Games, activities, food, and lots of fun! Registration required.
Teen Night— Saturday, 2/23, Saturday, 3/30, Saturday, 4/27, 6-9 p.m. (grades 7-12):  After-hours time for teens. Games, activities, food, and lots of fun! Registration required.

SPECIAL EVENTS – All ages
School’s Out Movie—Friday, April 12, 1:30 p.m.:  School’s out early, it’s a great time for a movie at the library! Popcorn and drinks provided. Movie title TBA.
Make & Take Crafts—Friday, February 8, 10 a.m.-noon: Drop in to make a Valentine craft for a loved one. Projects for preschoolers through teens.
Read Across America—Saturday, March 2, 10 a.m.:  Join us to celebrate Dr. Seuss and the love of books! A story, a game, and a craft. A special gift for all participants.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover—Thursday, April 18, 5 p.m. (dropoff); Pickup:  April 19, after 9 a.m.:  Kids can bring their stuffed animal friend or doll for a special story and craft, wish their friends sweet dreams and tuck them in for the night, then come back the next morning to see what they did while their humans were at home sleeping.

Adults – recurring
Trivia Night—First Thursdays, 7:30 p.m. (@ Breakaway, 305 N. Minden Ave.):  Show off your smarts in our trivia challenge. Theme varies each month. Teams of up to 5 persons.
Cookbook Club – Third Thursdays, 6:30 p.m.:  We’ll choose a theme, you bring the food! We’ll discuss recipes and cookbooks while tasting and sharing.
Adult Crafts—last Mondays, 6:30 p.m.:  A craft night just for adults. Supplies provided. Registration required.
