What a cold, gloomy start to the week! And possibly snow in the forecast? Brrrrr! What better days to curl up with a cup of tea and a good book? I can’t help you with the tea (yet) but we have great books available for you. Hold fast, warmer temps will be here soon and to welcome them, we’ll be celebrating Spring during the month of May. Come by and catch up on our cooking magazines or escape to glorious gardens with The Impressionist Garden by Derek Fell. Plan your own garden with The Concise Gardening Encyclopedia by David Squire or pick and choose plants with The Perfect Plant by David Joyce. If you haven’t read The Secret Garden by Francis Hodgson Burnett, we have it here for your reading pleasure. May brings many changes, and one of the new changes you’ll see at your Snyder Library is Story Time! Our first Story Time will be on 13 May from 4:45 – 5:30 featuring A Nest Full of Eggs by Priscilla Belz Jenkins and chosen by Ava Rose of Snyder; what a great book to welcome spring into our hearts and yards! Join us here for the story, a fun activity, and a fun spring snack. Stay warm and I hope to see you soon!
