2nd Annual Book Sale!

Greetings on a gloomy night!  Spring is here, don’t you think?  We need the moisture and a soft, soaking rain is just the ticket.  My crocus’ are up, my Red Bud tree has little red buds, and it ‘smells’ like spring!  A little sun and we’d be set!  With the rainy days still with us for a while yet, what better way to pass the time than curled up with a good book?  If you haven’t been to see me in a while, swing by and see what’s new!  I have everything from new best-sellers to favorite past reads.  Looking for something to take home and not worry about returning?  I have the answer for that, too!  Join us in the Snyder Auditorium on 8 April between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for a ONE DAY ONLY book sale to kick off National Library Week.  Scribner Library has generously donated books for our sale, the proceeds of which will be used for the Snyder Summer Reading Program project – restoring Marvin’s Garden!  Come out and peruse the stash from not one but TWO libraries!  All books and magazines are for donations only, no set price on anything.  If you would like to donate books or magazines, you can drop them off no later than 5 April to either the Snyder or Scribner Library during normal operating hours, or just place them in the drop boxes.  We would so appreciate your support – our Summer Reading Program is “Build a Better World” and what better place to start than in our own community?  Help us rejuvenate Marvin’s Garden – and you, too, can build a better world! See you soon at your Snyder Library!
