Personnel Management

All employees working at the Blair Public Library are employees of the City of Blair, Nebraska.  Library employees will follow the guidelines set forth in the City of Blair Personnel Manual.  Professional Development is encouraged by the City of Blair and employees are encouraged to approach the Library Director regarding educational opportunities.  The Library Director will review the same with the City Administrator to determine the feasibility of attendance.


The Blair Library Board reviews expenditures monthly as reported by the Librarian.  The Library Board shall review  the proposed Library budget before the budget is submitted to the City Manager.
